Air Intake Box
Opened air intake box where the paper or oiled fiber filter element (not shown) would be located. Notice the intake side of the air intake box is dirty and the top is clean. The top is where filtered air passes through on its way to the air duct and then to the throttle body and engine intake. Arrows show path of air flow. This air intake box cleanliness on top shows the effectiveness of the filter element.
