This linear droplet pattern suggests something directly below in the engine compartment is flinging fluid up under the hood. The rosy pink color suggests transmission fluid. In this case, the vehicle uses transmission fluid for the power steering pump, and that’s the source of the leak. The pump is leaking fluid and the power steering pump pulley is flinging it up onto the underside of the hood. Also note the factory sticker showing routing of vacuum hoses. This suggests that the hood is the original that came with the vehicle.
